Rode just a part of this road (Kakopetria - Stavros) and its a nice road, with plenty of scenic views. It is however full of tight corners so being on a wrong bike (like I was on my Ducati Monster 620ie) is a pain. Beware of falling rocks which are in the middle of the road! Best to avoid the months of June-Aug as its extremely hot and the max speed you can go on the twists is 40 km/h.

Use: All bikes
Proceed towards Troodos mountains on A9 motorway and pass through the villages of Akaki, Peristerona and Astromeritis. At Astromeritis (B9) you will reach traffic lights, turn left following the signs for Troodos, after 8-10km appr turn right where the road signs points Kykkos monastery and follow that destination, road E908 changes to E912. The route passes from some nice located mountainous villages which you can have breaks or meals. Reaching Kykkos monastery at a height above sea lever of 1500m, spend some time to visit the monastery and also there is a small market outside the monastery which you can buy fresh and natural fruits, homemade wine, fresh nuts etc.
Continue to the remote village of Kampos for just a few kilometers, there is some kind of facilities for a break if you didn't have earlier. To proceed towards Stavros tis Psokas you have to return back and follow the road signs (most probably you had seen it in your way to Kampos), is a right turn and another 26km in a very windy forest road. Take care of falling rocks from mountain sides and also for icing (winter time) especially in tide turns. The road is newly surfaced and gives you some nice views and the enjoyment of the remoteness as you are riding. At Stavros tis Psokas there is forest station and a small kiosk/restaurant. You can find also accommodation facilities, ask the kiosk keeper for anything that has to do for the area, food and sleeping as well. I recommend one night to spend over there (my biker club is having for 10 years now the annual winter meeting up here) choose one of the rooms of the big stone house, the only thing you will need if you decide to spend a night is only your hygienic bag, everything else is provided (except any luxury trendy ideas).
Next day, have a coffee at the kiosk in the little plateau and decide were to go from the 3-4 optional destinations, exploring is another option over there.
Notes: Not easily accessible Gas station / be cautious during winter season / recommended for all seasons.
