This is the best road in Missouri for spirited riding or driving. This is a higher speed road section than tail of the Dragon. Not a lot of driveways or intersections. There is a dead man's curve heading south, a blind decreasing radius curve with a soft ditch full of leaves and car plastic bits. Most people avoid this section due to it's white knuckle nature of blind corners and mega elevation changes (the straightest section). 20 MPH corners and in the straight I bet you can accomplish red out. Stop a in Potosi for a sandwich and head straight back the way you came. There will be a motorcycle resort one day in this area, I just hope I am a partner when word get's out about the very best road in Missouri.
Short afternoon loop south of Columbia, MO
this way is fun for going fast corner lovers and just a nice ride
Route 34 between US60 and Hwy 49 near Piedmont is amazing! The eastern portion of this route has just been paved (April 2016) and the road quality is outstanding. Perfect carving corners the entire route, with only a few straights, but TONS of fun for sport bikes, cruisers, anything really. This is one of my favorite stretches of road on my entire US tour.
Trip to Branson Missouri
A variety of twistys & elevation change. Part of the route us like a roller coaster, I have traveled from WI to AR many times & this stretch of road is always a blessing after 7hrs on the Slab (interstate)
Great scenery to keep off the bigger roads.
Beautiful scenery and great twisties
Low speed limit is making it annoying daytime, but an early morning or evening it is a great ride.
Nice twisty ride to the Harley shop and back
Very scenic with lots of turns
Lots of twists and turns and about 3 hrs. Good roads.
Nice mixed section of easy curves and straights with some fine sections of more challenging twisties.
Short exciting section
Heading north from Winona this is a very nice scenic ride with a selection of different types of turns.
Good mix of curves and straightaways
Great Long Day Ride or break up with stay at "The Hub", Marble Falls, AR
We took this route to St Louis. Its my favorite portion of that trip.
Flowing road along the river taking in a couple of nice green conservation areas
Flowing bends up to the river.
A nice selection of corners
Once you leave St. Louis this has some nice sections
A nice scenic ride through the Ozark Mountain foothills. Lots of nice high speed sweepers and elevation changes. Very enjoyable!
