my review is from binbrook to rasen
it is without doubt the bumpiest road surface ive ever ridden on
whoever resurfaced it must have done it in 6 foot sections its that bad
the pot holes have gone but its a nightmare, and ive got forgiving suspension on my old zx6r
my mate on his zx10 was continually squashing nuts on his tank

however the road from Waltham to binbrook is perfect, one of the best ive ridden on for corners, very leafy in places and lots of hidden hazards but well worth the ride
when you get to binbrook from Waltham don't head for rasen but head south ludford/binbrook lanes, far less bumpier but tiny

Previous comments indicate that the road surface has deteriorated in the recent winters; this is true, but country roads are always subject to having loose and slippery surfaces (cow muck and soil washed off the fields) and so should always be driven with care.

I still maintain that this is a good ride.

The route can also be extended: keep on the road through Binbrook, East Ravendale, Waltham, Cleethorpes Sea Front.

Great tea and chips at the Hawaiian Eye; generally plenty of bikers around.

The winter has played havoc with the surface. Went through there at the weekend and it's truely shocking. Move left, move right, cross the white line you're still aiming for a deep pothole which could have you off. A real shame and probably no longer worthy of particular note.

'The mini Nurburgring' isn't just Cadwell. En-route to Cadwell try out this one between Market Rasen and Binbrook in the lovely Lincolnshire Wolds. Surface from Tealby to Bully Hill is shocking but it's an amazing stretch. Be careful of the watertable outfalling across stetches on the route and visibility is limited but if you've got the balls high speeds are possible.... however I wouldn't due to the liklihood of something waiting around the corner.
