This is a route (THE route) to take to get to Tralee. And what's great about Tralee is that it is the gateway to the Dingle Peninsula which has some awesome routes on it. There are serious corners and its 'the back and beyond' and can be quite desolate. I find that you can really open her up on this route but the corners can catch up with you so keep your wits about you...it can get quite exciting!
